God speed to you Syd. I send my condolences to your family and all who shared a part of your life.Years ago Syd taught art class from her home and for a time my then home in West Seattle. She was such an inspiration to us all, a talented woman in many ways. I remember how she loved her dogs, she'd come in sometimes all muddy from the morning feeding. Once we had a truck of wood dropped at her place and we shared it. There's so many good memories.Your family will never be alone, your light shines too brightly to ever go out.

I wish to express my sincerest sympathy to Syd's family. Syd was a wonderful person. Dennis and I purchased our last two Shepherds from Syd and we stayed in contact through the last 11 years. Having gone through chemo and radiation for the same type of cancer, we had a lot in common.
Please know that your Mom will always be with you and that your wonderful memories will never be lost.
