Shirley Jeanette (Rebich) Cooper passed away in her home located in Kent, WA on March 5, 2010.
Shirley was born on December 27, 1948 in Dillon , Montana . She grew up on a cattle ranch six miles south of Dillon, and attended grade school in a one room school house near her home. She attended high school in Dillon. She attended flight attendant school. She next accepted a job with the FBI in Washing, DC for a period of time.
Later she moved to Portland , Oregon where she met Arlie Cooper. They were married on September 19, 1969. They celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2009.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Arlie, daughter and son-in-law, Leonnie and Tom Stewart, granddaughters, Kaleigh, Heather and Sarah, and grandsons, Kyle, David, and Nicholas, sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Tom Rice, and nephews, Nolan and Mike and their families, and her husband's extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 16th, 7pm at Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent , Washington . In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
